This is us
What is possible
We understand that many people and organisations find AI either too difficult to understand, too ethereal or worse still, an unknown threat – which is where we come in.
Learn & Adapt
The instinct to learn and adapt is not only what makes us human, it is also the heartbeat of every forward-thinking business – and critical to its survival and growth.
Altada’s approach to AI is the personification of positive human endeavour – the ultimate example of what we can achieve when we combine what we know, with what is possible.
And this is how
Together, we have a unique and authentic opportunity to demystify and realise the true potential of AI to move forward and to evolve – it’s what we do best.
We are the ultimate sponsors of the human race.
We are what is possible.
Altada was founded by Allan Beechinor and Niamh Parker. Frustrated with the complex way that AI was presented, and with little clarity on the ethical boundaries, together they set out to build a company which would make the true capabilities of trustworthy AI, accessible to everyone.
In 2017 with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the horizon, and Allan along with a group data technology advocates, solved the complexity of ‘Personal Identifiable Information (PII)’.
This journey led to the inception of the Altada AI-driven platform which in turn has created the team now known for solving some of the most challenging issues by leveraging the power of AI.
Niamh and Allan have four children and are passionate about nurturing the AI talent ecosystem and have partnered with Tangent, Trinity College Dublin’s ideas workspace on the AI accelerator, Alsessor.
What we bring
With over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, Allan is a globally recognized, AI thought leader.
He is also one of few technologists to feature in the Gartner cool vendor list, Magic quadrant and industry leader board for Privacy management within two years, across three different privately-owned companies for one specific use case.
Allan was a key contributor to help develop the first MSc for Artificial Intelligence in Ireland and contributed to the whitepaper ‘Irish Programme for Government for AI’ which was published for the Minister for Innovation and informs the National Strategy For AI.
Niamh has over 20-years-experience across the legal, hospitality, sport and technology sectors. She is also the CEO of Altada’s sister company BeaconAI which specialises in data privacy solutions.
She is a serial entrepreneur and holds a Masters in European and Comparative Law (LLM) and is a passionate ‘privacy by design’ advocate.
